In "Andrew Bynum still has knee pain, not close to return" the ESPN associated press brings to light that Bynum still has a long way to go before he will be ready to play for the 76ers. They question his work ethic because his knees aren't healthy but he still does things that are not helpful to his knees.
In this article it includes quotes from Andrew Bynum who has still yet to play. Analyst Stephen Smith questions Bynum's work ethic. He thinks that Bynum only cares about the money and not about the team.
I think that Bynum can be very successful with the 76ers once and if he gets healthy. He will be a dominant low force and if he gets double teamed he can pass it out to open 3 point shooters, which is why the sixers obtained Nick Young for example. His defense will also help the 76ers, because right now they have no inside defense and have been struggling with opposing centers. Their defense is degenrated from a year ago when they were in 3rd now they're in 15th.
This article made me ponder many things bout the 76ers and Andrew Bynum. Why do they question Bynum's work ethic? Has he ever given up on a team and is he just playing for a paycheck right now? I could check old press conferences for hints to this answer.
Good, but short. Do you think the Sixers should sign him to an extension this summer, even if it doesn't seem like he is working hard to recover from his injury? 85
